This time last year in China we took this photo of tourist looking on as the Birds Nest was being built ... we also got a Merit in the Fuji Film Awards 2008 which was pretty cool!

Elaine Duigenan at Ben Pentreath Ltd

we popped by Elaine Duigenan's exhibition and were really impressed with the prints - on display were her series of old hair nets and old stockings.

Ben Pentreath Ltd is the perfect setting for an exhibition - not your conventional white gallery space - but a beautiful shop with loads of cool items for your house and with this backdrop you could really see how Elaine's work would find a perfect home in yours.

Collections

we're wishing it was still the weekend filled with celebrations, hot weather, fun...

so to keep us entertained we decided to go through some old photos we haven't had a chance to look at yet... and found some we had taken for our 'collections' project and had almost forgotten about.

'collections' is a project we are currently working on where we investigate objects people have in their homes.

After Easter

so we're back to normal now ... no more easter eggs to munch on for a whole long year ... we both love easter as it sneaks up on you and the four days is just what you need to recharge the batteries.
we even managed to get a little creative on our time off and take some photos of the easter goodies we got along with taking our profile photo for this blog.
